The District Court in Ljubljana notified Sava d.d. that on 10 June 2015 it had made a ruling on termination of preventive restructuring proceedings and on initiation of compulsory settlement proceedings for the company Sava d.d.
In accordance with the regulations and in cooperation with the creditors, as well as taking into account Sava d.d.’s development strategy, Sava d.d. will prepare a long-term programme of business and financial restructuring whose essential element is development of tourism business. This includes the companies in which Sava d.d. holds direct or indirect capital investments, i.e. Sava Turizem d.d., Istrabenz Turizem, d.d. and Hoteli Bernardin, d.d. The programme will also contain the activities in connection with the financial pillar of Sava d.d. with its major investments in the share fund Alpen.SI and Gorenjska banka, d.d. Sava d.d. will adapt the dynamics of divesting its financial pillar to the requests made by the creditors. This is why it already began yesterday the procedure of selling its 44.07% qualified equity stake (the bank’s shares with voting right) in Gorenjska banka d.d., Kranj.
